With the recent, devastating effects that the coronavirus has had on our society, we knew that we had to go above and beyond the massage industry\u2019s existing safety standards to ensure the trust and safety of everyone using our platform as we start to reopen. We worked with a team of experts to determine the best course forward, utilizing information and data from the CDC and local health officials, and are excited to introduce Soothe Safe\u2122, our comprehensive program to protect the most important part of Soothe \u2014 <strong>YOU<\/strong>.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soothe Safe involves a 10-point checklist of items we are asking of our community to ensure that everyone is safe and secure when booking through Soothe. In preparation for a session, please:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provide a kitchen sink, powder room, or bathroom for the therapist to wash his\/her hands at the beginning and end of the massage therapy session<\/li><li>Keep children, pets and others 6 feet away from the massage table and the therapists\u2019 belongings to follow social distancing protocols<\/li><li>Shower before your appointment<\/li><li>Have a hand towel ready to sneeze or cough into, or wear a face mask that covers your nose and mouth<\/li><li>Offer to use your own freshly-laundered sheets if you prefer<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Soothe Safe policies for therapists<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the 500+ hours of required training, rigorous vetting processes and background checks, we require for all massage therapists in the&nbsp;Soothe&nbsp;network, massage therapists will be taking additional steps to promote a&nbsp;safe&nbsp;experience.
